New collaboration with Viard (Normandy)
Finally, farmhouse desserts designed for our traditional shops!
La Ferme du Bourg Groux (Viard)
The Viard family has been making farmhouse desserts and yoghurts in Normandy for 3 generations. Their farm has a herd of 300 Prim'Holstein cows fed exclusively on their own crops. The fresh milk of the day is processed directly on site, with no external supplements.
This is how they naturally find a place in the dessert market for traditional cheese dairies, with farmhouse products (pasteurized or not) and consistent prices. This isn't as easy as it sounds, especially in desserts, where prices are low: a little quality added to the product quickly has an impact on its price: you have to find the right balance in the right format!
The rewards for their efforts were highlighted at the recent Concours Agricole de Lyon: several of their products have now won medals. Hats off to them!
We recommend :
- Skyr 400g
- Rice pudding 400g
- Lemon /coconut/ vanilla yogurt 140g

These yogurts are flavored and homogeneous (no fruit jam). The rice pudding is neither too liquid nor too firm, but well-balanced and successful (Camargue rice). The 400g size is generous, and the 2 of us finish the meal with a full belly. All their desserts have very little added sugar, just like the old-fashioned way: we're faced with a real commercial success story that strikes the right balance between trendy products like skyr and quality and authenticity.
